1 year at APAC Ingredients! 🥳

It feels like only yesterday that I was walking into my new office with some trepidation.

Had I made the right choice going away from Tourism and Retail?

What would I do if I didn't like it?

Did I really think I could do something so different?

What if I didn't get on with the boss?

I'm sure we have all been there. . .


I needn't have worried! It has been an absolute blast and has gone so quickly.


I wanted a challenge, a change of scenery and to be part of building a business up, and I certainly got that. I continue to learn everyday, problem solve and find new ways of looking at things. I've stepped outside my comfort zone a few times, which only helps with my development.


The team has expanded again since I started and we have gelled really well. There's nothing better than going to work without any negative connotations to it.


To put some stats to our growth in the past year - Last month I processed 300% more orders than I did in June last year!

We have progressed from just Petfood and moved into the Nutraceutical market, which has been eye opening with the changes going on in the world.


Here's to another year onwards and upwards with APAC.

Nerves. I haven’t felt nerves like this since I did my first Ironman 5 years ago and certainly haven’t felt them at work for a very long time! I must be doing something new and awesome.

November 2024 marks a huge milestone for APAC Ingredients. Midway through the year, we felt there had been a shift in both our offering as well as our end target markets. This in turn, led us to the decision to update not only our strategic direction but also the whole look and feel of the company. The NZ sourced Raw Material has become a huge point of difference for us and we wanted to reflect this in our new branding. We approached Vanilla Hayes who immediately picked up what we were putting down and have been instrumental in guiding us through this transition of focus. With the new branding being rolled out w/c 18th November 2024 along with attending our first NZ Health Products Innovation Expo, this is a new and improved APAC Ingredients and we cannot wait to continue to share our expertise in both the pet food and now, the nutraceutical spaces! – Sam, Director
